Let me just say that I feel your pain, and hope to GOD that I don't sound like that anymore unless I'm sugar-high and surrounded by other Hetalia-tards. I always look back at it and go, "I really need to change this." and this comic definitely illustrates what I try not to do if I can. The reason I no longer use Japanese in normal conversation is pretty much what I learned from a similar situation the hard way--I am not Japanese so I'm not even gonna TRY speaking it unless I make it through at least one semester of the class.
